देशभर में नोटबंदी के बाद से समूचे देश में नकदी संकट चल रहा है, जिसके चलते लोगों को काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। बैंको और एटीएम की कतारें कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रही हैं। गुरुवार को नोटबंदी के इस फैसले का पूरा एक महीना हो गया है।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ट्वीट कर लोगों को आश्वासन दिया है कि नोटबंदी के इस फैसले से दीर्घावधि में लाभ होगा। पीएम ने ट्वीट कर लिखा, ‘मैंने हमेशा कहा कि सरकार के कदम से कुछ असुविधा ज़रूर होगी, लेकिन कुछ समय की इस असुविधा से दीर्घावधि में होने वाले फायदों का मार्ग प्रशस्त होगा…’

उन्होंने एक और ट्वीट कर लिखा, ‘मैं भ्रष्टाचार, आतंकवाद और काले धन के खिलाफ इस यज्ञ में भाग लेने के लिए भारत की जनता को पूरे दिल से सलाम करता हूं…’

प्रधानमंत्री ने लिखा, ‘इस फैसले से किसानों, व्यापारियों, श्रमिकों, जो हमारे देश की आर्थिक रीढ़ हैं, को बहुत-से फायदे होंगे… भ्रष्टाचार और काला धन अब ग्रामीण भारत की तरक्की और समृद्धि को नहीं रोक पाएंगे… हमारे गांवों को उनका हक मिलना ही चाहिए’

साथ ही पीएम ने युवाओं से भारत को भ्रष्टाचारमुक्त बनाने तथा ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा कैशलेस लेनदेन में मदद करने का आग्रह किया। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र ने लिखा, ‘हमें मिलकर सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि भारत काले धन को परास्त कर दे… इससे गरीब, नव-मध्यम वर्ग सशक्त होंगे, और भावी पीढ़ियों को लाभ होगा’
